Sigh. I'm sad now. All I do is create depressing OCs with depressing backstories. xD And all I do is draw depressing art (have you seen how dark my gallery is?).
Anyway. I've developed Aran and her partner a lot over the past couple of months; I thought I'd finally give Aran a nice, strong digital piece of artwork, since she was deserving of one.
That book means something special to her~
While I'm not usually proud of the backgrounds I paint, this one is particularly nice, I have to admit, considering the other backgrounds I've done. xD;

If you think Aran's a depressing character and dislike it, ya need ta try to put her in a situation where see CAN'T be so depressed. Unless... Ya know... You don't want to...
The background's pretty epic. The only thing is that Aran's arm seems a little fatter when it reaches the fore arm.
